W; Cuplen chairman of the Cass County War Savings Committee and who was the first to join the order, started the organisation, he pinned the badge ea his lapel, took the book and after signing his name for a certain amount which is placed anywhere from twenty-five cents to flO and which is pledged to be paid for thrift stamps at the end of each month for the remainder of the year, found someone else willing to ''Join" the order In the same manner.
