Patriotic Rally Held

At Sevastopol School Patriotic speeches, urging the pur chase of Thrift and War stamps, were made by. D. J. J. Rae and Walter Ratliff at Sevastopol school Friday evening. A community sing with the unfurling of a service flag containing seventeen stars were features of the meeting. A first class agency ror the sale of the stamps was established. The ' children of the district have formed thrift . stamp clubs and assisting with the campaign. are Wayne's Quota in Next Red Cross Drive, $40,000 Wayne county's quota for the next Red Cross drive beginning May 20 is $40,000 acocrding to Secretary E- M. Haas of the Wayne County War fund committee. The committee will have charge of the campaign. The coeds of Bellevue university, South Dakota, let their fellow-students take them to a concert given by a national guard regiment, but dismissed them after the concert, and gave a reception to the soldiers. Saw Garden of Eden Re-enacted by Mormons ' Arrangements have been completed for the mass meeting to be held in the Reid Memorial United .Presbyterian church on Sabbath afternoon at 2:30, to be addressed by A- C. Latimer of Springfield, Mo., on "The Secret Rites of the Mormon Temple." Men only will be admitted to this meeting, which has been arranged for the purpose of enlightening the men of this community as to the strange

and shocking scenes which take place in the Mormon Temple. Mr. Latimer will describe the secret garments worn by the Mormon missionaries and the oaths taken by this sect He himself was married in the Temple recently and saw re-enacted the Garden of Eden scene by actors dressed in primitive costumes. One thousand men heard Mr. Latimer when he spoke on this subject recently at Akron, Ohio. It is expected that the church will be filled to its capacity on Sunday afternoon.
