OLD SPINNING WHEEL FOUND IN EDWARDS DEN Flax Mills and Reel Discovered in Economy, Nate Avers.
ECONOMY. Ind., March 13. The liking (or old relices leads to cellars, basements, attics, china closets, presses and old cedar boxe3, but in this instance a big nest of old spinning wheels, flax mills and a reel wore found at the den of C. O. EdMiirrta Thov nrr nil in fine shape and

if need be. The oldest one, bearing the hard working name of "Old Nig," came from the bluegrass state and is 120 years old. It was last owned by Grandma Richardson and did good service. The rest of the wheels are 100 years old and probably were made in the Iloosier state. It is certain that the reel was made in Wayne county near Williamsburg by a man named Spencer, who had a "wood shop" on the west bank of Greensfork and ran the lathes by foot power. There are no metal pieces on the reel and it strikes ond at every 100 rounds, or at each time 600 feet are reeled, making one cut, and four cuts one skin Miss Ida Lamb, postmistress at Economy, has sold $2,500 worth of vhrift and war stamps Herschel Uallengcr and Gordan Smedley of Oklahoma City, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Weyl and left for Richmond early Monday morning where they will embark in business.

When the Baby Needs a Laxative
No one knows better than the ever-watchful mother the natural doctor of the family in all the small ills that when the baby is out of sorts it is usually due to indigestion or constipation. It is always well, in any of its illnesses, to look for this cause. The diet may have to be changed, but before good can result from it; the bowels must be moved. The mother has the choice of many medicines cathartics, purgatives, bitter-waters; pills, physics, etc. But the little body doesn't need such harsh remedies for they wrench the system and do only temporary good, so often followed by an unpleasant reaction.
A better plan is to employ a mild, gentle laxative of which only a little is required. There is a combination of simple laxative herbs with pepsin sold by druggists under the name of Dr. Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin that thousands of mothers have used successfully for baby's constipation and its accompanying ills, such as belching; wind colic, restlessness, sleeplessness, etc. The nursing mother will also find it ideal for herself, and it is especially important that she be free from constipation. Syrup Pepsin is guaranteed to do as promised or the druggist will refund the money. Thousands of cautious families have it in the house, secure against the little ills.
SDr. Caldwell's YRUP PEPSI The Perfect JLL Laxative
NO INCREASE. In spite of enormous increased laboratory costs due to the War the manufacturers of Dr. Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin are sacrificing their profits and absorbing the war taxes so that this Jssrtly laxative may remain at the pre-war price of 50c and $1 large bottle. So sold by drugsists for 26 years.
FREE SAMPLES Dr. Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin is the largest selling liquid laxative in America. If you have never used it and would like to sample it before buving. send your address for a free trial bottle to Or. W. B. Caldwell. 468 Washington St.. Monticello, HI. HOW TO GET RELIEF FROM CATARRH If you have catarrh, catarrhal deafness, or head noises go to your druggist and get 1 oz. of Parmint (double strength), take this home add to it hot water and just a little sugar as directed in each package. Take 1 tablespoonful 4 times a day. . This will often bring quick relief from the distressing head noises. Clogged -nostrils should open, breathing become easy and the mucus stop dropping into the throat. It is easy to make, tastes pleasant and costs little. Every one who has catarrh should give this treatment a trial. You will probably find it just what you need. For sale by Clem Thistlethwaite. Adv.
