Dandruffy Heads Become Hairless

If you want plenty of thick, beautiful, glossy, silky hair, do by all means get rid of dandruff, for it will starve your hair and ruin it if you don't. It doesn't do much good to try to brush or wash it out. The only sure way to get rid of dandruff is to dissolve it. then you destroy it entirely. To do this, get about four ounces of ordinary liquid arvon; apply it at night when retiring; use enough to moisten the scalp and rub it in gently with the finger tips. Hy morning, most if not all, of your dandruff will be gone, and three or four more applications'will completely diKsolve and entirely destroy every single sign and trace of it. You will find, too, that all itching and digging of the scalp will stop, and your hair will look and feel a hundred iimes better. You can get liquid arvon at any drug store. It is inexpensive and four ounces is all you will need, no mater how much dandruff you have. This simple remedy never fails. Adv.

Conkey Complimented for Patriotic Work The American Druggist and Pharmaceutical Record in a recent issue compliments the patriotic work of J. A. Conkey, Richmond druggist, for his support of a measure pending in Congress to obtain a pharmaceutical corps for the United States army. The Record reproduces some of the publicity which Dr. Conkey has prepared and for whose publication he paid.

Supporters of the pharmaceutical corps for the army argue that it is just as necessary for soldiers to have proper protection . in the dispensing and compounding of medicines as it la for civilians. The continental armies have properly organised pharmaceutical corps. The Edmonds-Hicks bill proposes to create a separate army corps of pharmacists. The National Pharmaceutical Service association is backing the move-

Why Mrs.Sherwood

Ordered 5 Pounds More Unexpectedly, the Sherwoods' Quests accompanied them home from the theatre. On the way home, cocoa was su&&ested as a refreshment, and a small quantity was purchased at the corner dru& store. It was the cocoa used in making chocolate syrup for the soda fountain. The hot, steaming drink was indeed welcome. So enthusiastic did her guests become over this different, delicious, refreshing beverage, that Mrs. Sherwood ordered five pounds more of the same kind.
