SUNDAY SCHOOL CONVENTION TO BE HELD SUNDAY Township Rally Planned for New Paris Presbyterian Church. NEW PARIS. O., March 7. The third convention of the Jefferson Township Sunday School association will be held next. Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Prebbyterian church. Mrs. Iva J. Kline, of Camden, county treasurer, will speak. Others on the program will be Rev. D. S. Ewry, who will speak on "Building Up the Sunday School"; C. M. Benson, who will speak on "Morals of the Sunday School," and J. W. Reinheimer, who will have charge of the devotionals. Miss Wilma Pence will recite "The Solid Rock," and the men'B quartet will slag. and Joseph Heeter collided at Walnut and Spring streets Tuesday night. White and Heeter and Heeter"s father,

who was riding with him, were Injured slightly. Thirty gallons of vinegar, which was in the Heeter car, was spilled over the three men and over the sidewalk and lawn at the Patrick Horrigan home. Misses Helen Sawyer and Mary Melody were entertained at dinner Thursday evening by Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Alexander in honor of Miss Lottie Alexander of Dunkirk, Ohio. The host and hostess and guests, together with Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Jones and daughter and R. E. Keagy later formed a party at a Richmond theater. Perry Tlckel and son John and their families are moving to West Alexandria on a farm.' Word from Corporal Reld Clark, at .Camp Sherman, who Is 111 with scarlet fever, Is to the effect that he is receiving splendid c are and is doing fine. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hensel moved to Richmond Tuesday, and Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Horrigau moved to their new home vacated by the Hensels. Miss Mary Hawley of Richmond, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hawley.

Indians Will Train at Haitiesburg, Miss. INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., March 7. James C. McGill, owner of the Indianapolis American Association Baseball club, began sending out notices to members of the club today ordering them to report at Hattlesburg, Miss., on March 24 for spring training. The calling of the Indians to meet in Hattiesburg followed the receipt of a telegram by. Owner McGill from the War Camp Community Service Board at Camp Shelby, saying practically all arrangements had been completed for the team to train at the camp of the former national guardsmen. According to present plans the club will remain at Camp Shelby until April 3, and then return directly to Indianapolis for an exhibition game with the Cleveland Americans on April 15. A week will be spent at Bloomington working out. with the Indiana University nine before the association season opens. Owner McGill had no comment to make when informed the Toronto International League club would start, and that Larry Lajoie, who at a conference with McGill here last Saturday, agreed to manage the Indianapolis club provided he obtained his release from Toronto, was to meet the Toronto manager before the end of the week.
