Alleging that he has been guilty of extreme cruelty, Lucie Jones asks common pleas court to divorce her from Jefferson Jones and award her alimony. She also asks the court in another action to grant partition of 156 acres of land in Jefferson township, in which she claims she owns two-fifths interest and her husband a three-fifths interest. According to minutes of the county commissioner's journal, William Mills has been appointed to membership upon the soldiers' burial committee of Jefferson township. Squire Spangler is defendant in an action brought in common pleas court by W. A. All are over six feet ta 11, the tallest one measuring six feet three inches. Jt's quite a representation from one family. But Ben Marshall, internal revenue collector at Frankfort, says his home won't be so lonesome as one might think. For there are three more boys at home, aged twelve, fourteen and sixteen, and then the boys Lave five sisters.

MURRAY The most recent and effective drive for something decidedly realistic is the effort of Triangle in their new and powerful dramatic photoplay, "The Gun Woman," with Texas Guinan in the leading role. With gripping force and intense power it portrays the evolution of a tigerish and fascinating woman, dominated by lust for gold and stained with blood of men, into a sweet and noble woman striving for love. You will want to see this picture at the Murray Theatre on tonight.

230 MILLIONS LOST IN FIRES

TRENTON, N. J., March 5. Losses from fire aggregated 230,000,000 in 1917 and were larger than in any previous year except one, 1906, in the nation's history, according to a communication received today by the New Jersey stato council of defense from the council of national defense. The San Francisco earthquake and conflagration occurred in 1906. The rapidity with which fire losses are mounting is emphasized by the statement that the 1917 damage exceeded by $30,000,000 that of the previous year, when lossei also totaled $30,000,000 more than in 1915. The communication from the national council of defense asserts that a particularly onlnous feature of the situation Is a recent great increase In the number of fires of incendary orison in places where they were effective in discouraging industry, such as factories, warehouses, lumbber yards and docks. "These disastrous conditions must he improved," it is declared. "The speeding up of industries must not be nllowed to crowd out precautions that are known to be important, nor must over-confidence be allowed to relax safeguards. Constant watchfulness, frequent inspection, extra guards, especially at night, and proper care and segregation of all inflammable waste are measures that must be complied with.

GOOD BLOOD "Blood will tell." Blotches and blemishes, like murder, will out, unless the blood is kept pure. Its purity is restored and protected by the faithful use of BEECWAM'S PILLS Larg et Sale of Any Medicine in the World. Sold everywhere. la boxes, 10c, 25c

Sanitary science has of late made rapid strides with results that are of

untold blessing to humanity. The lat-'

est application of its untiring research is the recommendation that it is as necessary to attend to internal sanitation of the drainage system of the human body as it is to the drains of the house. Those of us who are accustomed to feel dull and heavy when we arise, splitting headache, stuffy from a cold, foul tongue, nasty breath, acid stomach, can, instead, feel as fresh as a daisy by opening the sluices of the system each morning and flushing out the whole of the internal poisonous stagnant matter. Everyone, whether ailing, sick or well, should, each morning before breakfast, drink a glass of real hot water with a teaspoonful of limestone phosphate in it to wash from the stomach, liver and bowels the previous day's indigestible waste, sour bile and poisonous toxins; thus cleansing, sweetening and purifying the entire alimentary canal before putting more food into the stomach. The millions of people who are bothered with constipation, bilious spells, stomach trouble, rheumatic stiffness; others who have sallow skins, blood disorders and sickly complexions are urged to get a quarter pound of limestone phosphate from the drug store. This will cost very little, but Is sufficient to make anyone a pronounced crank on the subject of internal sanitation. Adv.
