REGISTER-HERALD OF EATON MERGE Eaton Register has passed out .The Eaton Herald and the Register merged and the consolidated papers will in the future be published as the RegisterHerald. - v The new publication will be published by the Register- Herald company, in which C. E. Albright of the. Register, and C. B Unger, publisher of the Herald, hold the controlling interest The company is incorporated.; The new company took control of both properties today and the new publication will make its first appearance next week. It will be Republican in politics and - will be published as a weekly, it is understood. The offices of the new company will be located in the Herald plant where the new paper will be published. , ;The Register came into existence In 1820 and for almost the last half century has been owned by the Albright family. The paper was the official Republican organ of Preble county. The Herald was established fifteen years or longer, ago. With the combined circulation of the two papers in the' Register-Herald,' it : will rank among the first in point of circulation of the weeklies in the state. Instead of March 24, Ivan S.
