"I was induced by a brother braketran to try Peterson's Ointment, and after I had used two boxes I saw the wonderful results. You can tell suffering ones troubled with ugly, painful r.nd horrid ulcers that your Ointment i:: a cure for them when everything i lse falls, as I have tried about everything. French Newspapers

Praise U. S. Admiral

PARIS, Feb. 12 French newspapers praise the American Admiral commanding a United States squadron, stationed at a French port, for his

summary and effective action against tradesmen and others who have been

charging the American sailors extortionate prices for merchandise and service.

In one case, it is stated, the Admir

al was notified that a certain hotel had -been overcharging the American naval officers. The American Admiral placed two sentries at the door of the hotel, ordered all officers residing there to leave immediately, and commanded the sentries not to permit another American to enter the place until further orders. Faced with ruin, the proprietor offered to make any amends which . the Admiral demanded.

This course of medicine will be worth many times the cost when it removes that tired feeling, that paleness and anemic tendency, that warning of waning strength, that weakness of body that opens the way for disease, that backache and other symptoms of kidney trouble, constipation, and that grouchy touch of rheumatism. Many people need this splendid com

Lemons Do Whiten! Try This on Face, , Neck, Arms, Hands

MERCHANTS'

DELIVERY CONKEY'S DRUG STORE Phone 1904. Leslie Cox

The lemon juice massage indulged in once or twice each day means a little time and trouble, girls, but what of the splendid results? A skin bleached beautifully white, a complexion with the bloom of a peach, a softening of those lines of care; in fact, a skin eloquent of nature's puity and hands white, soft and full of charm. What girl or woman hasn't heard of lemon juice to remove complexion blemishes: to bleach the skin and to bring out the roses, the freshness and tie hidden beauty? But lemon juice alone is acid, therefore irritating, and should be mixed with orchard white this way. Strain through a fine cloth the juice two fresh lemons into a bottle containing about three ounces of orchard white, then shake well and you have a whole quarter pint of skin and complexion lotion at about the cost

I one usually pays for a small jar of ordi

nary cold cream. Be sure to strain the lemon juicer so no pulp gets into the bottle, then this lotion will remain pure and fresh, for months. When massaged daily into the face, neck, arms and hand3 it should naturally help to whiten, clear, smoothen and beautify the skin. Any druggist will supply three ounces of orchard white at very little cost and the grocer has the lemons. Adv.
