The first half ended ehree to two In favor of the Dentals. McCormick, the Dental forward making one field and one free throw. In the second half, Coach Howe changed his proceedure of tactics, instructing that longer shots bo made, and the Earlham five profiting by its failure to connect with the basket by playing a passing game, sooned gained the rub and annexed fifteen points while the Dentals made nine. The following players in the major leagues are above the draft age limit:

Larry Doyle, Arthur Fletcher, Charles Herzog, Heinie Zimmerman. Larry Gardner, George Gibson, Ivan Howard, Bill Killifer, Sherwood Magee, Eddie Jimmy Austin, Frank Baker, Jack
Plank, Jack Murray, Fred Luderus, George McBride, Bert Niehoff, Dode Paskert, Frank Schulte, Bert Shotton, Oscar Stanage, Terry Turneer, Jimmy Walsh. Leon Ames, Larry Cheney, Eddie Cicotte. Jack Combs, James Lavender and Harry Sallee. Eddie Plank is the Nestor of the veteran squad of exempts, the family record accrediting him with forty-two summers. George Gibson is probably the only one with a son in the army. George evidently got an early etart in the matrimonial game, as he is now only "going on" thirty-eight. Pasksrt is on hiB way to his thirty-seventh birthday, while Gavvy Cravath and Frank Schulte are in their thirty-sixth yer, if the records are true. Buffalo has sent some fine catchers
to the majors during the last few years. Jimmy Archer, Bill Killifer, Wally Schrang and Hank Gowry went up to the majors from the Bison City.
the Red Sox, the White Sox and the Yankees of the American league, and the Robins and Phillies of the National league. Coombs and eBnder are the players who have changed leagues as well as uniforms.
The drait hflp taken several Cleveland players, but the punch remains. Speaker, Chapman, Roth, Graney and other veterans have not been taken. There is a possibility that Speaker and Chapman may be drafted.

AN HONEST OLD REMEDY IS THE FAMOUS S. S. S.
Rheumatics Won't be Fooled
They Stick to "Neutrone Prescription 99."
Many a Gray-Haired Druggist First Sold It When a Boy. A recent letter contained this significant paragraph: "Finally I wrote
to my brother, who was in the drug
business for over twenty years, and he wrote back and said that he had sold thousands of dollars worth of S. S. S., and to try that." We do not know of a more sincere tribute that could be paid to any medicine. Certainly It is the strongest possible proof of the merit of S. S. S. because it comes from one who has sold the medicine for twenty years, and has seen from actual experience the wonderful good that It has done. The staunchest friends of S. S. S. are those who know the remedy best.
S. S. S. is a purely vegetable remedy, being made from the roots and herbs of the forest, by a formula handed down by the Indians, who knew nothing of drugs or chemicals. It is without question the most thorough blood purifier known, cleansing th blood of all traces of impurity, at th same time adding new life and strength to the entire system. You can absolutely rely upon S. S. for it is the best tonio and system builder you can f!nd. It has been sold by drug stores for more than fifty year. deal which has made him a Brooklyn pitcher. The governor had a lonk talk
with Mamaux in Pittsburg recently,
and the latter received much good advice. Mamaux had threatened to hold up the deal by demanding back salary from the Pirates which was due for the time that he was under suspension. But when he had talked with the governor, the erratic young boxman decided to forget his grievances and swear allegiance to Uncle Robbie. Though he never starred much as a player when he was with the Glant3 and the Washington Senators some years ago, Jack Hendricks career as a manager has been one of many suc
