The Wayne County Chapter of the Red Cross will eloee its work room each afternoon at 4:29 o'clock in order to assist with the conservation of fuel; Workers are asked to be at the rooms early each day so as much work as possible may be accomplished-. The class in surgical dressings which usually meets at 3 o'clock, will meet at 2; 30 o'clock; Mrs. Olive Allison Is director of the department Mrs. Edward Wendllng, Mrs. Fred Powers and Mrs. Anuer, assistant supervisors, had charge of the work, Thursday. , Twenty-four women of the chapter have finished the courses in surgical dressings and will wear attractive pins. White veils ornamented with small red crosses have been given to the assistants to be worn In the work room. The chairman in charge of the day's work will wear a red veil, the directors of each department wear blue ones. Nearly all the woman's organizations of Richmond are working on hospital garments.
