Hundreds of Richmond women are using 14-inch celluloid knitting pins for Red Cross knitting. Many have found the 14-inch pin too long and would rather work with 10 or 12-inch pins. The George H. Knollenberg company has consented to cut them any length, re-point and polish them without charge. The firm has cut, repointed and polished 100 pairs. A class in surgical dressing will meet Tuesday at the Red Cross rooms under the direction of Mrs. Olive Allison. Red Cross work will probably be resumed In the grade schools Feb. 1. The work was discontinued before Christmas because of smallpox in Richmond. Miss Mary Williams will have charge of the work. - 1 1 - There will be a class in surgical dressings Thursday at the Red Cross rooms. City Gardener Elan Up at Commercial Club Meeting Richmond may have a city gardener who will also look after the forestry work. The matter was considered Saturday afternoon at a meeting of the Playground and Park committee of the Commercial club. The committee will refer the matter to the directors and they in turn will consult the Board of Public Works. 28 737 8.75 2 675 10.00 1 1160 10.50 COWS 3 853 6.00 3 880 6.65 6 , 938 8.00 1 1120 9.75 BULLS 1 520 6.50 1 1050 7.50 1 1520 8.25 1 1810 9.50 CALVES 1 320 7.00 3 165 12.00 4 152 15.00 6 151 15.50 2 160 16.00
