Left-Handed Plows on List of Luxuries

WASHINGTON. -Dec. 14. Lefthanded plowe and . .unusual shades of paint have been added; to the 'L.lttle luxuries" which the" public must forego next year because of the war. . Having effected economies in men's clothing, and even achieved a 'reformation in women's styles," the Commercial Econ-

cmy Board of the Council of National Defense announced today .that attention was being paid to articles1 of industrial use with a view to eliminating as many as can be spared. For this Reason phairman' A. W. Shaw said, you' will not be able next year to purchase a left-handed plow, unless it is an old model. At the suggestion of the board," implement manufacturers .have decided the" "right-

handed -plow can erve the rural communities and a great laving in manufacturing facilities be effected. Color scenes in paint will be limitedto some forty shades instead of 100 as heretofore. Sizes of paint containers too, are being standardized, to reduce
