Tufts, Aurora; Worthy Pomona, Mrs. Nora E. Grube; Woman Assist, ant Steward, Mrs. Lena Alexander, Portland; Executive Committeeman, one elected each year, T. II. Wallington, Madison. Resolutions Introduced. R:8ottitlf.ns relative to taxation, high cost of living, food conservation end the present war were handed to members of the resolution committee at the morning and afternoon sessions. Chairman Dunmiro said the resolu-' tiouK would not be adopted until late Thursday. A report, of the committee on finance, salaries, second degree, third degree, were other features of the Morning session. , Worthy Master Wright made his annual address at the Tuesday afternoon session. He said: . "There seems to be a feeling In some cities that the farmer Is not doing nls full part toward supporting the war. We most emphatically deny the charge end claim the farmer is as patriotic und as willing to serve his country as nny other citizen." I Mr. Wright also said the farmer!

Horst in his letter also told the marshal that shirts tor soldiers were being made within one-hair mile of his home and asked If he would have to have a permit to "stay at home " The marshal has ruled he must get the permit and also that the sign should rot be posted. Horst told the marshal In his letter that the people knowing he is a German try to draw him Irto war discussion. Mr. Storen said, concerning the letter, "this Is no time for divided allegiance to this country. The only redeemable feature of the proposed sign Is that Its author uses the little 'i.' Horst must quit any pro-German talk and take out a permit."
Wife of High School Teacher Will Sing Mrs. S. S. Vernon will sing Thursday evening, December 20. at the High school entertainment to be giv?:n for the benefit of French orphans. Mrs. Vernon, who has a beautiful voice, is the wife of a member of the High school faculty.
RICHMOND IS THIRD IN WIRE CLASSES Richmond has the third largest telegraphy class in connection with public school work of any city in the state. There are 32 members in the telegraphy class at the Night Bchool. Huntington has the largest class. 38. The Kokomo schools are second with en enrollment of 37.

by R. E. Cavanaugh of the Educational section of the State Council of De fense. All but ten schools have reported. The quota for Indiana is 900 trained men.
