The program was given with ease and grace and proved to be quite 2 entertaining. The Elk's first dance of the season will be held this evening at the club rooms. ' Runge's orchestra will furnish the music for the evening. All members with their lady friends and visiting guests are invited. The winter social committee is in charge of the dance. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Kolp will give a Thanksgiving dance tomorrow evening at 9 o'clock in the I O. OF. hall. A special eia;ht piece orchestra with soloist will furnish the music.
Mr. and Mrs. Michael J. Quigley have returned from Greenfield where ihey . attended the funeral of a relative. Miss" Jeanett'e Murphy left this morning tor Indianapolis, where she will spend the remainder of the week. Mi?s O'Neil, teacher in the Commercial Department of the High school has one to Dayton to spend Thanksgiving vacation with her mother.

The Tourist club will meet Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Hiatt instead of with Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Trueblood as announced in the year book. H. A." Dill will give a talk on "Sidney, Adelaide and Melbourne," three important cities of Australia. Miss Sophia Marchant will give one on "The Australian at Play." Everything is in readiness for the Omicron Pi Sigma Thanksgiving dance which will be held this evening in the 1. O. O. F. hall. The Becker-Bott five I'toce orchestra will furnish th music. 'Twenty members and three guests attended the regular meeting of the Tirrah Aid society yesterday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Arthur Williams. Plans were made for the annual dinner to be held December 8 and it was decided- to glve "'Ben Hur," December "7.
