?An old fashioned Thanksgiving social will be given tomorrow evening at the Second Presbyterian church for members of the congregation. Refreshments and games will be in keeping with the affair. The docial committee has announced that 200 turkeys will be given away during the evening. All members of the congregation are invited. "The Wide Awake Bible class of Second English Lutheran church is givins an oyster supper this evening in the basement of the church. 3upper will be served from 5 to 7: SO o'clock. The public is invited.
The afternoon was spent In an informal manner with games and music. The Joy Bearers class of Trinity Lutheran church will meet this evening with Mrs. Oscar Tressel at her home, 29 South Eleventr street.
'The Universalist Mission circle will meet tomorrow afternoon with Mrs. Martha Johnson at her home, 206 South Eleventh street.
Walter H. Well is spending a few days in Indianapolis with friends. T. J. Lamb was pleasantly surprised Sunday at his home south of the city by a number of friends and relatives, ia celebration of his birthday. A dinner was served at noon. Miss Lillian Ammalee, a celebrated pianist and Mrs. F. B. Stant, soprano, will give a joint recital this evening in Dublin in the I. O. O. F. hall. Miss Ammlee is the guest of M. and Mrs. Stant while in Dublin.
The Enterprise class of East Main Street Friends church will entertain the Men's class tomorrow evening at the church. The Art Study club will meet tomorrow morning at 9:30 o'clock in the Art Gallery of the high school. All members are urged to be present. Mrs. H. G. Clark will entertain tomorrow afternoon at a bridge party as a courtesy to her guest, Mrs. Margerie Land Dudley of Cleveland, O. Bridge will be played at three tables. Several parties aro being planned for Mrs. Dudley while she is here.
First English Lutheran church will have an indoor picnic this evening at the home of Miss Elsie Bullerdick, 1322 Main street. Supper will be served at 6 o'clock,, after which the evening will be spent in sewing for the Red Cross. All members are urged to Joip in the party. West Richmond W C. T. Night School Echoes
A meeting of the Federation of Wayne County Domestic Science clubs will meet Thursday afternoon at one o'clock in the county superintendent's office in the court house.
The Loyal Messengers Class of the First Christian church will meet this evening at 7:30 o'clock at the home of Mrs. I. M. Burns, at her home, 404 North Fifteenth street. A full attendance is desired.
Revival Services on at Nazarene Church
There were 500' persons in attendance at the night school Monday evening. There were fifty in attendance at the automobile -class. The demonstration of the new Davis chassis attracted the attention of many. Will Gross,
with Mr. Williams, who is employed at the Davis company, had charge of the work.
Monday evening an employe of the Delco company of Dayton will speak to the members of the automobile class. " Mrs. M. F. Johnston will lecture Wednesday evening on the Birge Harrison exhibit in connection with the Arts and Travels course.

Rev. L. T. Wells of the Nazarene church, last Sunday opened a series of evangelistic services which will continue for several weeks. Services will be held each evening except Saturday. Rev. Mr. Wells, before coming to Richmond was engaged ip. the evangelistic work and is a "live wire" in such work. The public is cordially invited to all the services.
B. W. Kelly had chaTge of the English classes for employes of the Penn
sylvania. The attendance was splendid. . : There were 41 in the gymnastic classes under the direction of Miss Margaret Wickemeyer.
In the stenography class there is a
large increase. Fifty-five were pres ent Monday evening.
All mother's who have children are welcomed to bring them to room 25 before their classes open. The class in practical nursing will meet Wednesday evening in room 25.
MAY LIFT COAL ORDER
WASHINGTON, Nov. 20. The fuel administration is considering immediate withdrawal of the priority order which all middle western coal shipments have been going to lake ports for the northwestern territory. When this is done the coal will be delivered to the east to relieve shortages, particularly in New England.
The attendance in the Spanish class was 72. The French class had 30.
Principal Carman is pleased with the co-operation given him by the Domestic Science association.
John Markle, of Hazelton, Pa., president of a coal company, announced a reduction of 50 per cent, in the rent of all company houses during the continuance of the war, so that the employes could buy Liberty bonds.
Mrs. Elbert W. Shirk, named Miss Constance Bell to have charge of the children whose parents were attending night school classes Monday evening.
