KUTH CORN IS DRIED OUT EARLY

Corn that will yield well by early planting; types of corn planted for the betterment of other types; corn that was out of milk In September, and :orn that will yield from 60 to 75 bushSis to the acre, was Bhown by Stephen Kuth, proprietor of the State Line farm Monday. The Kulhman, the Helms and the Kuth types were exhib

ited in the crib. In his experiments with the Helms ind his own type of corn, Mr. Kuth, has worked for betterment. Ears taken at random showed that the mixture gave tightness and set of kernels. In one crib clone no sorting had to be made, the ears showing very little moisture, the early corn drying fairly well out in September. . Seven rows taken from a field of the Kulhman type had a heavy broad grain and six weeks ago these ears were out of milk. This corn also bettered the Kuth type for seed. There was a deep grain on most of the ears. This corn, Mr. Kuth said, was not for corn shows, but was planted for the pocket book, the yield and the early drying making it most profitable.
