RICHMOND MAY ENLIST COMPANY

An Indiana national guard regiment Is to be organized as Boon as possible, and under a plan formulated at Wash ington by Adjutant General Smith of! Indiana and -war department officials, one of the twelve companies of the new regiment is to be recruited in Richmond. It is generally understood the new Indiana guard regiment is not to be taken into the federal service and will . be entirely under state control, to be used only for service in Indiana. Adj. Gen.
