ES WILL

SLOW QUAKERS ATJRAMKLIN Snyder and Jessup Not Expected to Get Into Contest Today. BY DON WARFEL Although tie entire squad worked out for the final scrimmage of the week Thursday night. Injuries probably will slow up the Quaker football team in the game apainst Franklin at Franklin next Saturday.

Coach Lewis announced Friday

morning that he did not think that Snyder or Jessup would be in condition for the contest, although both men will probably accompany the team.

The final workout, consisting of a lirht signal practice and a "skull"

session, will be held Friday evening and the team will leave Saturday

morning for Franklin. Jessup and

Snyder are both unable to run for any great stretch, Jessup having Injured his ankle, and Snyder his side. The Quaker line continues to show strength and in the scrimmage session Thui""!iy they tore through some 'of the huskiest scrubs with ease. Upon the line Coach Lewis is rlc'ng his greatest confidence although he has drilled his men on a number of open plays. The same line-up, with the exception of Snvder and Jessup will start the game Saturday as 6tarted against Cincinnati. The me n that will fill the other positions have not been named.

About the World Series. Le'see, Bennie got two hits for eight bases, if they had been divided into

singles, that would have been eight hits in sixteen chances, or .500 but

then Bennie got his all at once and

his average Is now .125. The players can now start counting their dough. Forty-five men have the

pleasure of dividing $152,888.58, and then keeping their share. Remarkable features of the game Kauff 's two home runs; Schupp's splendid pitching, after his blow Sunday; Rariden's clean work behind the plate, subbing for McCarty; two Shutouts in a row for the Sox. No game Friday, the teams moved to Chicago and the Palladium electric board will start at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, rain or snow. Its still Cicotte and Faber with a beter chance for RusseU. Take Every Advantage of This Relentless Enemy Fighting disease is the most important warfare known to mankind, because we are all subject to its attack. One of the most common foes is Rheumatism, which attacks wi$h relentless violence, and often leaves its victim entirely helpless. They are so anxious to find relief from its torturing pains that they expect local applications of liniments and lotions to accomplish what is impossible. Rheumatism is caused by millions

of tiny germs, which, are entrenched in the blood where they cannat be reached by locally applied liniments. , They must be literally routed and forced out of the blood by a remedy which hearches them out and puts them to flight For more than fifty years S.
