This Beats Faber for Bonehead Stuff
CHICAGO, Oct. ll.There were in this city baseball fans, as many, maybe, as a thousand, who neither knew nor cared to know that the scene of the world championship baseball game had been transferred to New York. As a result of this Indifference to a piece of news that was widely mentioned in the daily papers at the time, a line of baseball fans, several blocks long, drew up before the Amer lean League ball park Monday night and when daylight broke was lounging on the Sidewalk waiting for the sale of seats to open at 11 o'clock. All of the attaches of the ball park had gone to New York and there was none left on the ground to warn the weary waiters they had waited in vain. Jri the morning the line grew in length as 11 o'clock approached, and at that hour it was so long that a detail of police was sent out to inform the members that the game would be in New York and that there wbuld not be any game anyway on account of rain.

DRUGS EXCITE YOUR , KIDNEYS, USE SALTS If your Back Is aching or Bladder bothere, drink lots of water and eat less meat.
When your kidneys hurt and your back feels sore, don't get scared and proceed to load your stomach with a lot of drugs, that excite the kidneys and irritate the entire urinary tract. Keep your kidneys clean like you keep your bowels clean, by flushing them with a mild, harmless salts which removes the body's urinous waste and . stimulates them to their normal activity. The function .of the kidneys is to filter the blood. In twenty-four hours they strain from it five hundred grains of acid and waste, so we can readily understand the vital importance of keeping the kidneys active. Drink lots of wateryou can't drink too much; also get from any pharmacist about four ounces of Jad Salts; take a tablespoonful in a glass of wa ter before breakfast each morning for a few days and your kidneys will act fine. This famous salts is made from the acid of grapes and lemon juice, combined with lithla, and has been used for generations to clean and stimulate clogged kidneys; also to neutralize the acids in uriue so It no longer is a source of irritation, thus ending bladder weakness. Jad Salts is inexpensive; can not injure; makes a delightful effervescent lithia-water drink which every one should take now and then to keep their kidneys clean and active. Try this, also keep up the water drinking, and no doubt you will wonder what became of your kidney trouble and backache. Adv.

A Drunkard's Plea. Tells How He Was Released from the Bondage of Alcoholic Savelry
Leading Druggists Guarantee Results. My heart bleeds' for every drunkard, and I sincerely wish I could meet them face to face and tell them how I was saved from the clutches of the demon drink. If this were possible thousands could be saved from drunkard's graves. Yes, my appetite for drink was com pletely destroyed. Here is the prescription that saved me. One prepared tescum powder twice a day in coffee, tea, or any liquid. Almost everything had been tried on me without result, so don't experiment with anything but tescum powders, then you will not be disappointed. Since the powder is colorless, odorless and tasteless it can be given secretly. It is intended to destroy the terrible craving. The results are so startling that druggists are re funding the money if it fails. (See money refunde guarantee, which druggists are authorised to give when above prescription is filled.) There is absolutely no risk on your part, so you., have everything to gain and nothing to lose. Mothers and sisters are now able to cure their loved ones of this terrible habit with no expense if it fails. If druggists were not confident of success they could not afford to make such an offer. Have the prescription filled today, before you forget it One woman who used this prescript tion on her husband says: "It is going

Another one gratefully writes: "I have used Tescum powders on my husband and find It one of the greatest cures in this world. He has't taken a drink tor almost five weeks and eays he never will. My home does not seem like the same place and life seems worth living. 1 hope thousands gain what I have. This has been a good new year for me without a drink in

Simple Remedy Brought Relief After Doctors Sal Knife Was the Only Way. Mrs. Mary E. Franse. of West Point, Nebr., is firmly convinced, through her own experience, that stomach trouble and., gall stones can be effectively treated and permanently relieved without an operation. In a letter to the Pinns laboratories Mrs. Franse says: "Ten years ago I was about to under go an operation tor gall stones when I heard of your treatment Dreading an operation above everything, I determined to at least try Fruitola and Traxo, and have never been sorry I did as I have not been trouble with gall stones since." Fruitola and Traxo are compounded from the original Edsall formulas at the Plnus laboratories In Monttcello, Ills., and can be purchased in drug
stores; a doctor's prescription la not necessary. Fruitola is a pure fruit oil that acts as an Intestinal lubricant and disintegrates the hardened particles that cause so much suffering, discharging the accumulated waste, to the sufferers Intense relief. One dose is usually sufficient to indicate Its effieacy. Traxo is a tonic-alterative that is most effective to rebuild and restore the weakened, run-down system.
