THE FIRST DAY
that John Wanaraaker opened his store he took in just $24.75. The next day he spent $24. up of that money for advertising. If John Wanamaker had stopped advertising then, he wouldn't be called "The Merchant Prince" today. He advertises every day, telling the news of his business telling what he has to sell, where it may be found and how much it costs. It's the "every day" feature of advertising that makes it pay. It is the "tell 'm again" idea that brings business.
