A Brilliant Season of Music

RICHMOND never has witnessed so brilliant a season of music as is promised for this year. For, added to the meritorious work of local musicians in school, college, etc. there will be the joy of welcoming the world's greatest artists to the concert platform. Not the least of the value of the Music Season in this time will be its inspiration. The season is lending itself to the spirit of the times.

What a message will Alma Gluck bring. She who has given $25,000 to the Red Cross. And her husband, Efrem Zimbalist, who is lending his great art to the soldiers' entertainment. And Evan Williams, whose son has gone to the colors. It will be an advanced lesson in patriotism to hear Christine Miller, celebrated contralto, sing, and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra play the "Star Spangled Banner."

All the Glories of This Season Are Open to You

And at. a price so small as to be almost negligible. Season tickets are to be had at $3 $4 -$5, at Martin's Shop. Think of hearing the incomparable Gluck for 80 cents. Purchase of season tickets gives the holder the following advantages: First, the same seat for all of the five concerts. Second, a greatly reduced price per concert. Third, the advantage of having to bother with reservations only once. Fourth, the sense of helping to make a season of music permanent.
