Toney pitched airtight ball in the first game, and the Reds, back on the road again, stepped in and clouted the ball all over the lot for 21 hits, and SO bases. MUSKEGON, Mich., Aug. 13. The Quakers played good ball, and in the Meld looked like a first division club In the second game of the series here Sunday afternoon, but they were very weak at bat, and the Muskegs won, 6 to 1. 'Bill Scheneberg, the Muskegon slabman, toyed with the Quakers and allowed only five hits. The Quakers' only run was made on a wild pitch and a single In the sixth inning. The Quakers played a good game, and showed plenty of pep, but they could not get the ball in a safe place, and their blows were invariably stopped bv a Muskegon fielder. Luke Hauser, the slow moving Quaker backstop, surprised the fans by stealing second in the fourth Inning.
