With all of the first consignment of 150 tents for the 1917 Chautauqua camp sold, Secretary Wissler, , announced Thursday that arrangements had been made to get a shipment of tents from the Miami Valley Chautauqua to make up any further deman that

The first allotment . of tents were told much sooner than they have been in other years, and as it is impossible to make any new tents, the directors of the Chautauqua expected some difficulty in obtaining an additional number. The. Miami Valley association, asreed to furnish what tents are needed and there will ready for use by

the opening of the program on August 19. ' ' Start on Tents. All of the floors for tents have been built and the first shipment of tents was received Wednesday. Workmen from the tent company in Dayton arrived Wednesday night and began erecting the tents Thursday. Formerly season tickets were made in the form of booklets, with a coupon

for each day of the program. This year the Beason ticket will be a single card, bearing the name of the holder, and will be good for only one admission. t , Holders of Beason tickets who leave the grounds during the days will be given pass-out checks, and their season tickets will not be good for re-admission. . Under this new jplan, the practice of some season ticket holders in the past, of allowing others to use their tickets will be eliminated, as 'a season ticket will be good for one admission only, each day.

ceeding-the F. W. Bethard company, former sales agents in this district. The new sales rooms of the Ford

company will be located at 19 and 21 South Seventh street and will be in Charles E. Webb and H. G. Coleman, of Detroit. Both of the men have had about five years experience In the Ford plant at Detroit and are experts in the assembling and repairing of Ford cars. In addition to the sales agents, a corps of men from the Indianapolis plant of the company will be brought here to give Ford owners the best

service possible in Richmond and sur

rounding, territory. The repair force now maintained by the Bethard agency will continue In the employe of Mr. Bethard.
