Now, Right Now is the time to buy a home in -Richmond. The public generally has hesitated about investing in homes during the past year believing in lower prices simply because building materials had not advanced in line with other commodities. But since Jan. 1st the advance has come and has come to stay and go higher absolutely higher either in case of continued war or peace. Lumber will be 50 higher 5 years from now than today. More lumber has been bought during the past 6 months than any 2 years previous. Remember lumber cannot be grown in 1 year and overcome a shortage. It means 30 years or more. Lumber has been the chief competitor and factor in keeping other building materials in line and with the increase in the cost of lumber all other materials advance accordingly. June 1st is scheduled for the advance in freight rates and another jump in prices of all building materials is due.

The man who OWNS a home in Richmond built during the past 5 years or gets busy at once and buys or builds, some of the bargains offered by us or our competitors will have good reasons to shake hands with himself. Buy or build for an Investment now. Rentals are due for a big advance. Just as soon as the public realizes that houses they own are worth real money and represent 40 to 50 more than original cost the income will be based on the present value. , -j , - Make up your mind today that you are going to own a home before prices advance farther and rents go higher. Do it now.. THE-"MItLER" KEMPER COMPANY, ' Phone 3247-4347-4447 or E. G. Kemper Phone 3811.
