cure a smooth, creamy liquid. When the lime is slaked, add to it sufficient water to make five gallon.' As soon as the copper sulphate is dissolved about two hours is ample time pour tho lime milk and the copper sulphate solution together in a thiid vessel. This word "together" also means that at the same time one solution is being poured Into the third vessel the other solution mu6t also be poured. The mixture should then be stirred until thoroughly mixed. Cautions The . mixture snould be used the same day it is made. Allow the milk lime to cool before pouring into the third vessel. If sufficient lime has not been added, Bordeaux mixture will harm the foliage. To make sure that a sufflcient quantity of lime has been added, hold a steel knife blade in the Bordeaux mixture for two or three minutes. -If the blade is given a coppercolored tinge, add more of the lime milk. If the knife blade remains bright, the mixture contains enough lime. The test may be made by stir
ring the Bordeaux mixture and allowing a drop of a ten per cent, solution of yellow prussiate of potash fall on the surface of the mixture. If free copper Is present, the drop will irame-4 dlately turn a reddish-brown color. In this case, enough lime has not been added. Add a little more lime milk and repeat the test until a drop of the ten per cent, solution of yellow prussiate of potash, when dropped on the surface of the Bordeaux mixture as before, will remain a clear yellow color until it disappears -in th mixture.' Use wooden vessels.

As Spring approaches, th9 impurities that have been accumulating in the system throughout the winter' begin to clog up the circulation, causing a general weakness and debilitated condition that is generally known as "Spring fever." The first symptoms are usually a loss of appetite, followed, by a gradually lessening of energy, the system becomes weaker day by day, until you feel " yourself on the verge of a breakdown. Children just at this season are peevish and irritable, and become puny and lifeless. This whole condition is but the result of impurities in the blood that have been accumulating and make
themselves felt more distinctly with the change of seasons.- They show that nature needs assistance in giving the system a general housecleaning. Everybody just now needs a few
bottles of S. S. S., the grs't vege-i
table blood remedy, to purify their blood and cleanse it of impurities. It is good for the children, for it gives them new strength ... and' puts their system in condition so they can more easily resist the many ailments so prevalent in summer. S. S. S. is without an equal as a general tonic and system builder. It improves the
appetite and gives new strength and ;
vitality to both old and young. Full information and valuable literature can be had by .writing to Swift Specific Co., 73 Swift Laboratory, Atlanta, Ga. Adv.
