Herr George Ledebour is the leader of the Socialistic movement in Germany, who in a speech In the Reichstag recently declared that "revolution must come and the country may as well prepare for it." In company with such men as Dr. Liebnicht and Max Harden, this brilliant and convincing orator has braved the displeasure of the Kaiser in an effort to place before the Geiman people an exact statement of the conditions now prevailing In the Central Empires. He is tremendously popudar, which probably accounts for the. fact that he is not already, confined in a military prison. .

In fact, many are leading ladies Just, because of their attractice locks. Inquiry among them discloses the fact that they bring out all the natural beauty of their hair by careful shampooing, not with any soap or makeshift, but with a simple mixture by putting a teaspoonful of, canthrox (which they get from the druggist) in a cup of hot water and applying this instead of soap. This full cup of shampoo liquid is enough so it is easy to apply It to all the hair instead of Just the top of the'head. After its use, the hair dries rapidly with uniform color. DandrufT, excess oil and dirt are dissolved and entirely disappear. The hair is so fluffy that it looks much heavier than it is. while its lustre and eoftness is delightful. Adv.

Aa armistice has bees declared In the conflict which has been raging over school matters in Franklin township. : Th armistice was not arranged. Franklin township trustee, is advertising for bids tor .a new high school building in Whitewater. A contract for the building probably will be let June 9. It will be let unless the residents of the north end of the township, in the Bethel and Brown school districts, find some way to prevent the building of the school. Want Consolidated Building. The "north-enders," as they are called to differentiate them from the Whitewater folks, are opposing the building of a high school in Whitewater because they want a new building to house a federated school, to be composed of pupils from the Bethel and Brown districts. ' The Brown district has been abandoned and cannot be federated under the state law, which prohibits consolidation of an abandoned district. Notwithstanding the impossibility of a new building the "north-enders" have been seeking to Interdict the proposed new building for Whitewater. Deny Wrong Attitude. Whitewater folks say the "north-enders" have been assuming a "dog-in-the-manger" attitude. ... This the "north-enders" deny.
