MAY 21. 1917 75 Men Raise Fund For "Y" War Work HINCKLE GIVES LAST SERMON OF SERIES ; ON; MOSES LIFE The last of a series of sermons on the periods to the life of Moeea was delivered by the Rev; Milo S. Hlnckle, pastor of the East Main Street. Friends church, Sunday morning. In closing hla address, the Rev. Mr. Hlnckle said: "Success came because he (Mmmi but by depending on God.' At a luncheon held at the T. M. C. A. at noon, definite plans were announced. The city la to be canvassed by teams, each assigned to a district Richmond has been apportioned $8,000 to raise. The campaign will close on May '23. Speeches were made by Fred Bates, H. R. Robinson, and Captain Tounken. Captain Younken told of the great work which the Y. M. C. A. did last summer on the Mexican border. L. .8. Bowman, .district chairman, street,' foreman of the core room at of the Y. M. C. A. war work campaign, are planning to visit all townships in the county this week. Each township trustee and a representative' group of men will be visited.- Plans for the campaign will be outlined, and each township will be assigned to its share of the work. . - 'i,took every obstacle to God.
