CAMBRIDGE CITY. Ind., May 7. Omer Manlove met with & serious and very painful accident Thursday which will perhaps prevent his attending to business for several weeks. When returning from Indianapolis, the automobile which he was driving collided with a street car on East Washington street, causing the steering wheel to break, which being pressed against his breast caused a fracture of the breast bone and one rib. HENRY AOLER EATON, O. Funeral services for Henry Adler. 81. civil .war veteran, were held Sunday afternoon in' St Paul's M. E. church, conducted by Rev. J. C. Shaw. Burial in Mound Hill cemetery. Adler .died in Los Angles, Cal., at the home of a daughter. Mrs. Addle Smith. CITIZENS ORGANIZE TO INCREASE CROPS

CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind., May 7. A meeting of those interested in improved agricultural condition and methods, and an increased acreage of crops this season, was held at Riser's School house, Thursday evening, at which a joint organization of the citizens of Districts 1, 2 and 2, of this township was formed, with .Webster Rummel. president; Thomas Kepler, secretary; Frank Myers, treasurer. A program committee was Appointed consisting of Charles Rummel, Andrew Smith and Will Schwede.
