LOCAL PEOPLE SING DESPITE HARD RAIN; MOVEMENT SUCCEEDS
. Richmond folks have taken oo the Community Sins movement ; They demonstrated that last night vrben nearly 40O of m scorn ad the rainstorm end fathered at the! High school auditorium for the third of the Teachers' Federation's scries of Sings. Conductor Sloan e used his) High School orchestra for accompaniments, with Miss Edna Marlatt, and njr the prelude work from 7 to 7:30. i The usual program of songs was Riven 'by .the audience, opening; with "America" and closing with the "Star Spangled Banner." ! Special music was furnished by Miss Ruth Scott, who played two violin numbers accompanied by ter sister, Miss Martha; Mrs. F. W. Krueger
and tho First Methodist Quartet. Mrs. Krueger sang "Carry Me Back to Old Virginny" and the quartet sang "Come Where My Lo7e Lies Dreaming." The quartet is composed of Mr. and Mrs. John Marshall, Miss Grace Shera and George Kodge. - - The fourth Sing of this series will bo held Wednesday night for West Richmond residents in Allen Jay Memorial church.

MAYME FREEMAN BONNER EATON, O. The body of Mayme Freeman Bonner, 62, wife of William Bonner, of . Richmond, Ind was brought here Monday and burled in Mound Hill cemetery. Her death occurred In Richmond following a long illness. The deceased was a daughter of the late Judge Isaac E. Freeman, of this city, and was born ' here. Her mother, Mrs. Kate Freeman, resides in the Masonic Home at Springfield. She Is also survived by her husband, one son, Charles, of Richmond, Ind., and one sister, Mrs. Lou Burdick, of Chicago. MARGAR AT STANZA : EATON, O. Funeral . services for Margaret Stanza, 70, will be held Wednesday afternoon at her later home on East Wadsworth street, conducted by Rev. McD. Howsare. Burial in Mound Hill cemetery. ' ' The deceased, the wife of John P. Stanza, died Sunday evening following
a two years' illness caused by cancer.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John . I. Bailey, both deceased, and was born and reared in Preble county. She had lived In this city thirty years. She was a member of Dorcas temple, Pythian Sisters. Besides her husband and two daughters. Miss Minnie Stanza and Mrs. Elma Watkins, of this city, she is survived by the following , brothers and sisters: E. E. Bailey, Mrs. Henry McNeal, Mrs. G. W. Longnecker and Mrs. Rebecca Dwire, of this city; S. M. and O. P. Bailey, of Latty; James and Albert Bailey, . of Dayton. William Bailey, of this city, is a half-brother and Mary Jane Miley, of Union City, is a half-sister.
