TanfldDirs We Ik There are two International Unions in the needle industry making men's clothes, recognized by the American Federation of Labor. The United Garment Workers making factory work, and The Journeymen Tailors Union making custom work. The latter organization is represented in this city by Local 165. Regardless of whether you are a member of organized labor or not you should see that your clothing bears the label of one of the above organizations because They are fighting Sweat Shop and Penitentiary work which spreads disease and ruins the health of thousands of workers. They are fighting against piece work so that we can regulate hours of labor so that a Tailor will have time to make a real citizen of himself. We are against working in the home and advocate Free Back shops. If you don't ask for the label in your suit, you are against Humanity. Do your duty. AMI Wimfln2ii Mean By order of The Richmond Central Labor Council you are at some time during this week directed to call on your Clothier And Tailor and inform them that your next suit must bear either the label of the Journeymen Tailors Union of America or the United Garment Workers of America.
