MISS DICKINSON TO REPEAT SPEECH

BOSTON, April 27 The five French army officers detailed by their government to give military instruction at Harvard university, will receive a cordial greeting on their arrival here late today. They will be escorted from the station to the Harvard club by the 1,000 members of the Harvard unit of tie reserve ' officers training corps.

"Out agin, in agin." remarked Sheriff Carr yesterday evening when he recaptured Foster Webster, negro who escaped from the road gang yesterday morning for the third time. Webster was manacled heavily when he made his getaway and he hid all day yesterday in the river bottom. Sheriff Carr and Patrolman Lawler searched the bottoms without success during the afternoon and in the evening the sheriff played his hunch that Webster would go hime with the shades of night, to rid himself of his chains. Webster is going to spend the summer quietly at the county jail.

GERMANS SEIZING NEUTRAL SHIPPING

Surface Gravel Gone Says Highway Head Surface and stream gravel is almost a thing of the past in Wayne county, according to Road Superintendent Jones. That is the reason the county commission tomorrow will let a contract for a new gravel dredge and engine. The commission last summer bought a second-hand dredge for $432. With it the road department lifted 12,000 yards of gravel and more than paid for it during the season. Superintendent Jones found it unwieldy and too slow for general use so he advised purchase of a new dredge. The old dredge was sold for nearly one-half of what- it cost the county. - -

Norway, was seized and taken to a German port.

PITTSBURGH RAISES PRICES OF BREAD

PITTSBURG, Pa., April 27 The price of bread will be raised in Pittsburgh next Monday, according to announcement by leading bakers. The six cent loaf will be advanced to eight cents and the eight cent loaf will be increased to twelve cents.
