WHEAT AUES SWING UPWARD
CHICAGO. April 24. Values took a lecided upward swing today In the vbeat pit influenced largely by unfarrable advices regarding foreign crops. Trance. Italy. Spain and the Scandtlavian countries in particular complained of adverse field conditions. There were also - reports that much Illinois winter wheat was being blowed up. and that the winter crop in iowa was virtually a failure. " Prices, which ranged from He decline to a like advance, with May at $2.31 to 12.32 and July at $1.98 to $1.98, were followed by sharp gains all around. Corn firmed up with wheat. Trade was chiefly local. After opening H off to a gain of . the market scored, a general rise to well above yesterday's finish. Oats reflected the strength of other grain. Commission house business was nearly at a standstill. . Advance of. hogs and cereals carried provisions along. - There was but little pressure to sell.

Don't Let Soap Spoil Your Hair
When you wash your- hair, be careful what you use. Most soaps and prepared ehampoOB contain too much alkali, which is very injurious, as it dries the scalp and makes the hair brittle. , The best thing to use is just plain mulsified cocoanut oil. for this is pure and entirely greaseless. It's very cheap, and beats the most expensive scaps or anything else all to pieces. You can get this at any drug store, and a few ounces will last the whole family for months. . Simply moisten the hair with water and rub it in. about a teaspoonful is all that is required. It makes an abundance of rich, creamy lather, cleanses thoroughly, and rinses out easily. The hair dries quickly and evenly, and is soft, fresh looking, bright, fluffy, wavy and easy to handle. .. Besides, it loosens and takes out every particle of dust, dirt and dandruff. Adv.

Local Citizen Receives Benefit Says Crocodile Liniment Is Marvelous. Mr. M. GiUadams who Uvea at 1315 N.. East St, Richmond, Ind., makes statement: ' I have been bothered with Rheumatism and swollen joints for the past two years and have tried in vain to find something that would give me relief. My knee would swell up making it difficult for me to walk and at times the pains would be almost unbearable. i bought a bottle of Crocodile Liniment and used ittn my knee and after the first application I noticed a decided change. The swelling soon disappeared, and the pains gradually ceased, and from that day I have not had a pain in my knee. I think CROCODILE LINIMENT is the greatest rtmdy there is for Rheumatism and pain. Crocodile Liniment is how being advertised at Thistlethwaite's Drug store Sixth and Main St. Where a special representative is lecturing and demonstrating the remedy this week only. This week only two bottles for 50c. Adv.
