their many friends in Bloomlngton. The Music Study club will give its closing program of the year Wednesday, May 2, at the home of Miss Elizabeth Hasemeier. There will be a special program. . On account of the open meeting of the Missionary societies of the city churches Thursday afternoon at the First M. E. church, the aid society of the East Main Street Friends church xvill meet Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock instead of meeting Thursday.

Miss Anna McManus has returned from a brief visit with friends in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This evening Mr. and Mrs. Teetor, who were recently married and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Teetor will form a dinner party at the Country club. Miss Dorothy Dilks was given the favor yesterday afternoon at the pretty card party given by Miss Irene Gortnon for Miss Mary Canby, who will be married Wednesday. Miss Ann Nicholson left this morning for Wichita Falls, and Dallas, Texas, where she will visit friends. The Woman's Character Builders class of the Central Christian church (north section) will meet Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Henderson, 100 North Nineteenth street. - ?--;.; Mr. and Mrs.4 Forest McCHaron of Newcastle spent the" week-end with Mr. and Mrs. W. A class of thirty-three candidates was initiated into the local order of Moose lodge last night. Another class of forty candidates will be initiated in two weeks. A social time followed last night's initiatory services. -

Mr. and Mrs. Matt Meyer, of Connersville who recently observed their golden wedding rode on one of the first passenger trains that ever left that city on their wedding day.

is to be .held tomorrow night in Second

Presbyterian church under auspices of

a committee of teachers and patrons of Starr school. , This Sing primarily is for residents of the northeast section of the city but any person who enjoys singing Is invited. Supervisor Sloane will lead the audience in seven numbers, two patriotic, two religious and three folk . songs. Miss Edna Marlatt will accompany the mass singing on the piano and Robert Longman with the cornet. . Special music of a high order has been provided by the committee. Mrs. Lewis C. King will give an organ number, possibly two. Miss Carolyn Hutton will favor with a violin solo and Mrs. E. E. Myers will sing a solo. The Sing will begin at 7:30 o'clock and no admission fee will be charged.
