JINX MAKES VISIT TO CENTRAL LEAGUE PUTTING TEAM OUT Sportively, speaking, - Bade Myers' squad of Central Leaguers Is badly Shot. ' s " : ' Lame arms, sickness and ether Incidental troubles have descended upon the Myers' following In such quantity that nothing short of a spirited rejuvinatlon will place the Quakers back In a position to give the Springfield Harvesters a decent scrap in the weekend battles scheduled for Washington Park. Springfield. List to the. troubles of Manager Bade: . Tester, first string catcher, goes to Battle Creek this morning for treatment of an overworked wing. Gygli. first baseman, has left for his home at Columbus. His wife is dangerously 111. :" . Stadfeldt first string infielder, has a lame fender that probably will keep him out of the Springfield action. Manager Bade holds out some hope that a couple of Milwaukee acquisitions, Hugo and Tories, an offering from Joe Cantilllon. might help fill the holes. Hugo Is an outfielder; Tories, an infielder. Both will report at once if the Richmond club agrees to the necessary shekels. ' " LEAGUE STANDINGS NATIONAL LEAGUE Clubs W. ,.. 5 . 4 ... 5 L. 1 2 3 3 4 4 7 5 .
