LEBER REFUSES TO PLAY AGAIN IN FAST CIRCLES

afternoon received a letter from

Johnny Leber, third baseman released

to Richmond by the Cleveland team,

stating that be had decided not to

play professional baseball this season

Myers is quite sore over the treat

ment he has received from Leber, who accepted the terms offered to him and

promised to report here last Sunday. Myers will immediately suspend Leber, thus barring him from playing with any team in organized baseball. Outfielder Donaldson reported here this afternoon. He was sent here from Toledo. He is sot big fellow and is only twenty years old. This . is his second eeason in league baseball. He finished last season with Toledo, belts secured from a semi-pro club. He is said to be very fast and a fairly good batter.

PALLADIUMS FAIL TO KEEP HEADWAY IN TRAMP SERIES

Opening game of the schedule probably will be played Monday evening.
