forced to endure are more than any spirited person can stand. Mrs. Kendall, the character 'played by Miss Ethel Clayton in "Man's Woman," the new World Brady picture, was Buch a
person. Bored to desperation by her
petted, pampered life she decided to
oe a real woman ana oeip ner buspsbo in the way that a wife should. TI:e manner in which she did this forms an
exceedingly interesting and pleasing
story. Miss Clayton plays her part superbly. She Is ably aided by handpome Rockcliffe Fellowes and a particularly capable cast. "Man's Woman"
will be the brilliant offering at the

Let's Get Together on a Campaign to Combat the High Cost of Living, by Cultivating Home Vegetable Gardens The high cost of living is no longer a matter which we can sit back in our chairs and jest about. It has gotten to a point now where it has become a terrifically serious problem. The prices now, as every housewife knows, are exhorbitant. Now let's get together and combat the food shortage. How? In this way: Turn Your Non-Producing Back Yards Into Vegetable Gardens Go to your back window today and nine chances out of ten you will be looking at a back yard full of rubbish and dirt piles. Now let's ' clean them up. Get the family together today and make the back yard spick and span. Then, instead of letting noxious weeds grow, plant a productive vegetable garden, and your worry about the high cost of green stuffs will be no more. The possibilities of back yard gardening are almost limitlessl There are thousands of acres of them undeveloped. Under cultivation that land would supply enough vegetables for hundreds of families.
Home grounds, to be beautiful must be liberally planted with Flowers y Veranda Boxes Lawn Vases, etc. . Geraniums, Salvias, Petunias, Verbenas, , etc., etc -a - . PLACE ORDERS; EARLY Lemons Flower Shop 1015 Main St. '
