ROBINSON CIRCUS SHOWS ON 'APRIL 27

Constant changing public taste in the matter of entertainment has touched almost every branch except the Circus, and even that has been transfigured considerably since the days of Dan Rice and his blind horse. The older generation . of theatregoers will remember "When Pantomime depicting the phantasies of Humpty Dumpty was among the most successful of theatrical presentations. : For fully twenty years' this form of entertainment enjoyed great vogue, as many as five companies, each beaded by famous clowns, toured the country

season after season, drawing capacity houses everywhere. In one, sense, these Pantomimes can be likened to

the present day "Movies" for they

furnished a complete . entertainment without a single spoken word. ' SENDS 'POSTAL SURPLUS

STOCKHOLM. April 17. "America sent to Sweden more than 10,000,000 crowns more in postal money orders than it received from Sweden in 1916. On The Boards

Andreas Dippel has made arrangements with Manager Pfeiffer of the Washington theatre oo Saturday, April 21, tar an engagement of his latest operatic success, "The Lilac Domino" waich critics in New York. Boston, Philadelphia and Washington have called the best offering of its kind since the days of "The Merry Widow" and The Chocolate Soldier." Charles Cuviliier has written one of his most melodious scores for. "The Lilac Domino," every number is worth while and some of them notable, "True Love Will Find A Way." -'Let Music Play,"

Where Xove Is Waiting, "'What Is Done You Never Can Cado," ' Won't Some One Find Me A Sweetheart," "I Call You Back To Me," "But Still We ffmfle," "Ladies' Day," "Song of The Chimes," "What Every Woman Knows," and "The Lilac Domino" are gems. Musically, Mr. DippeVs new production is far above the average of the operetta performances- that one usually hears, but he la too shrewd an impresario, in spite of nls artistic ambitions, to admit that operetta may he successful without fun, so there are several excellent comedians, in addition to the grand opera voices, large perfect choruses and special orchestra.

Way in Front for 8 Years

It was in 1909 that Fatimas nosed their Way to the front and became the fastest-selling cigarette costing oyer 10c. And, except in one or two localities, Fatimas big lead is increasing faster today than ever -in spite of the big sales of cheaper cigarettes, packed to imitate Fatima. Of course, Fatima's remarkable sales do not make Fatimas taste any better

in fact, no cigarette can just suit every man's personal taste. But it proTes that MOST men 'find that Fatimas keep their promises -.that Fatimas do taste good and are comfortable while you are smoking and that after you smoke they leave you feeling just as line as before. Yes, Fatimas are, sensible and some day you'll become a Fatima smoker.

"Experience is the best teacher," is an old adage and there are many Saxon owners that have had just said experience as Mr. Shape and Mr. Altiger. Read what these -gentlemen had to say, then investigate for yourself. Saxon Motor Car Corporation, Detroit, Mich : I wish to congratulate you on the great car you build. After running over five thousand miles it does not show the least signs of wear and is mechanically perfect. When it comes to all-around service, there is nothing at anywhere . near its price that can touch it. My Saxon is good for five thousand more miles and then some. ' DOUGLAS SHAPE, New York. Eaxon Motor Car Corporation, Detroit, Slich: "When it comes right down to real, satisfactory, economical service the kind that every motorist dreams about! the Saxon has It. I did not believe it possible for any car at anywhere near its price to do the things it haB done. I recently returned from a trip through the mountains and experienced some of the roughest roads in existence in spite of this I averaged twenty-three miles to the gallon of gasoline and did not have any trouble. On the level highways, I have often obtained twenty-seven miles to the gallon." W. E. ALTIZER, . , Antioch. Calf. The Saxon car is sold by The Auto Sales Co., National Garage. 1211 Main Street, Richmond, Ind.' Adv,
