WHEAT DEVELOPS NEW WEAKNESS (By Associated Press) . .t CHICAGO, April 13. Considerable weakness developed ia the wheat market today owing to assertion that hlgb prices bad more than, discounted damage to the new crop. Brisk, demand lor cash wheat continued from seaboard and milling interests, and gave the May option relative firmness as compare with later deliveries. Speculative trade was rather light. Opening quotations, which ranged from lc off to 2c advance, with, May at $2.18H i? $2,191,2 and July at $1.M to $1.88 were followed by some upturns, but then a materal setback, all arourd. Lightness of offerings- put strength Into corn, new high record prices for the season were attained. After opening unchanged to IV up, the market underwent a general sag, but then began to soar. Oats duplicated the action of corn. Buying orders were numerous, though mainly ' for small Quantities. Scattered sellings-as sufficient to ease down provisions. . Lard led the decline.
