PERSONALS MEMORIAL TO RAYMOND F. JONES - Raymond F. Jones, son of Jonas Everett and Cora Jones, died at his home in Denver, Colorado, April . 3, 9 917. His father, known- among us is Everett Jones, has been for years a member of Webb Lodgs No. 24, F. & A. M. His grandfather, Oliver Jones, is our oldest living member in years of membership, and his maternal grandfather, Jonas Gaar, was a member of this lodge for many years. ; Our Brother, Raymond F. Jones, was a member of Oriental Lodge No. iR7, F. & A. M., of. Denver, Colorado, lie was thirty years of age. had a commendable Interest in Masonry, and at the time of his death was contemplating further advancement in the Order. He was born in Richmond, where he . resided during his boyhood, and when about fifteen years of age he removed with his parents to Colorado, where he continued to live until his death. He was by profession a Civil Engineer, and held a responsible position in the Engineering Department of one of the Colorado Railroads. Ills fraternal, brethren of Oriental Lodge gave him every attention during his last Illness and to his family after his death, and entrusted the tost Masonic rites to Webb Lodge. He was a lovable young man, the 'pride and joy of his parents and relajtlves, and enjoyed the entire respect ' and confidence of all who knew him. The future seemed bright before him, he had taken the place of the upright, honorable roan In all life's relations and responsibilities, and bis untimely death brings distinct feeling of. ro'pret and sadness to all who" were privileged to know him. . While he was not a member of this Lodge, it seems . fitting that on account of hl3 near connections with it, and as an act of proper Masonic fourtesy to his brethren of Oriental Lodge, that wo should adopt this bilef memorial, testifying to our estimate of his manly worth and character.
