NEWCASTLE THANKS PALLADIUM READERS FOR RELIEF CHECK

Expressions of appreciation for the relief fund contributed by Richmond people through the Palladium are contained in a letter received today from the Citizens' Committee of Newcastle. The Palladium collected and forwarded to J. W. Mueller, chairman of the Relief committee " a check for 1964.80. The letter follows: Editor Palladium: , Mr. J. W. Mueller has just handed us draft for $D64.80 which you sent him as the people's fund . collected by the Richmond Palladium. We wish to express to the people of Richmond our gratitude for this magnificent fund which will enable use to very materially aid the sufferers in our terrible tornado March 11th.
