Cards have been issued by the members of the Beta Phi Sigma fraternity for a spring dance to be given Wednesday evening, April the eleventh at 8 :30 o'clock in the Odd Fellows hall. The subscription is one dollar. A committee is in charge of the affair. This is the first party to be given by the Beta's for some time and the party will mark the opening of the spring social season. Decorations in keeping with Easter made the home of Miss Hester Williams attractive last evening when she entertained members of . the V. V.club. Misa Donna Hyde and.iss Mae Appelton were made members of the club. Members present were 'Miss

Miss McMinn will entertain the club at her home, North Nineteenth ttreet. , On account of a prayer service at the East Main Street Friends church this evening, the Mission Study class met Monday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Crawford, South Twenty-first street.. The guests came in for Flipper. Places were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Wilson. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Carson, Rev. and Mrs. Milo Hinokle and Mr.' and Mrs. Crawford. This was the last meeting of the year. Thirty persons attended the meeting of the West Richmond W. C. T. U. held yesterday afternoon at the. home of Mrs. John Duke, Lincoln street.
