MISS LOVE PLAYS IN FLOWER GIRL

Bessie Love will be seen at the Murray theatre, Sunday, in her new play, "Nina, the Flower Girl." In this drama written especially for her by Mary H. O'Connor, editor of the Triangle-Fine Arts scenario department, Miss Love has the part of a blind girl, who makes artificial flowers to eke out the scanty Income of her grandmother, -who cares for her. As a chum and protector she has Jimmie, a crippled newsboy.

DESMOND PLAYS IN DUAL ROLE

In "The Iced Bullet,", new TriangleKay Bee drama, which will be seen at the Murrette theatre, Sunday, William Desmond appears In a double role, first as a scenario writer seeking to sell a script at the Thomas H. Ince plant In Culver City, Cal., and second as hero of his own drama, which he dreams he sees produced.

DICKEN'S STORY TOLD ON SCREEN

It is a long leap from the pages of Booth Tarkington's "Seventeen" to Charles Dickens' "Great Expectations," but Louise Huff and Jack Pickford are nothing if not versatile. So the fact that they have abandoned the twentieth century and reverted to the picturesque London of which the great novelist wrote need occasion no surprise to admirers of these two youthful Famous Players stars. "Great Expectations," which was directed by Robert G. Vignola, is the Paramount Picture at the Murrette theatre next Wednesday and Thursday.

Going to popular fiction for the subject of photoplaying, Bluebird brings to the Washington theatre on Tuesday and Wednesday, a screen-version of Edgar , Jepson's clever "Pollyooly" stories, with Ella Hall playing the role of two little girls so much alike that they are substituted one for the other when the domestic affairs of an unhappy couple are to be straightened out. "Polly Redhead" is the apt title that has been applied for screen purposes to Mr. Jepson's entertaining story.

Announcement cf the organization of the Woman Voters' association was made by Esther Griffin White last night at a meeting of the Second ward women. ' The meeting was held In the Morrisson-Reevgs libraryMiss White Is chairman of the association, which was formed for the purpose of getting out the female vote in the constitutional delegate convention 'in September. "A representative will be appointed in each ward and one in each precinct," Miss White explained. "Each precinct committeeman is to see five women in her precinct and each of these five Is to urge five others to vote." Dr. Zimmerman Invited Dr. Zimmerman, whose home is in the Second ward and who had been invited to be present on that account, pointed to the importance of registration, slating that every woman ought to register and cast a vote so she could have a voice in adjusting civic affairs if they didn't suit her. Dr. Zimmerman further stated that out of 600 families canvassed for another purpose 500 held women who stated they would vote. Several Women Speak Several women of the Second ward spoke briefly including Mrs. Clara Graves, Miss Carolyn Salter and Mrs. Margaret Fltzgibbons. "I am glad I am going to get to vote," said Mrs. Fltzgibbons. "I have always had a burning desire to vote the Democratic ticket and now I have the opportunity." John White, councilman from the Second ward, made a short speech in which he said while he thought the municipal light plant was a good thing, he didn't like the way it was bought. "They went into the board of works room and locked the doors," said Mr. White, "and then came out and said it was done." Oscar Williams, J. V. Schneider and J. J. Evans, candidates for council, and J. J. .Burns, candidate for city clerk, were present and made short talks.
