S. athletic colony will take the initiative in the two branches of sport. Baseball and track work automatically supplant basketball. The high school track and baseball squads are busy at the present moment. Tracks prospects at Richmond high are better than normal. Practically all of (be boys who made track history tor the school last year are ready to lay aside gym work to take the Playground track as soon as the weather permits. School Athletic Director Robert Xohr is busy lining up a schedule that will include at least two at-home meets and three abroad. The Tri-State and I. H. S. A. A. are the big events of the program. Earlham's baseball hopes have been lined up for a series of practise games with the Richmond Central Leaguers. The first scheduled game of Coach Lewis' charges la with Miami, April 14. The Earlham track schedule opens with an interclass meet, April 23. High school and college baseball will give way to semi-pro and pro ball early in May. Richmond's Central League and Interstate Association clubs should keep the fans occupied for the remainder of the summer.

Bicycle Club Formed at "Y"

The Bicycle club is the latest organization of the Y. M. C. A. All members of the association are eligible to the organization which will have as its purpose bike rides throughout the spring and summer months. Members may enroll with Athletic Director L.' A. Schwan.

POST-SEASON DUELS OPENED AT MUNCIE

Opening at Muncie tonight, the New-castle-Muncie All-Star series of three games is centering the interest of polo fans. Muncie, with Bob Griffith, the Richmond half back and Fred Jean, Indianapolis center; in the lineup expects to take this set from the I. S. L. flag winners. Newcastle will meet the same assortment at Muncie Friday and Saturday nights. The All-Stars probably will play at Newcastle Thursday night. The booking is pending but Manager Jamison, of the Newcastle team thinks he can secure the Newcastle rink for this game. The season, as far as Richmond is concerned, ends Wednesday night when the Quakers and a representative team of the Richmond Polo League meet.

He sent General Iraaoff into the capitol to rally the troops to the Imperial defense but tha general found that the soldiers had gone over to the revolutionists and that the emperor's cause was hopeless.
