Hold Berth in the Central
For the first time since he Joined the Quakers Blount fell down just a little last night. But those who know the cavernlike light of the Muncie den do not blame William. The goal ten is feel for 'em in 'the Muncie rink. They don't hepe to see 'em.
. Thompson went in for Fahrner at the beginning of the third. His goal tied Richmond at three.
In the third round Kid Williams dropped out and Fahrner shifted him
self up to first rush.
Richmond was today formally admitted to membership in the Central league when the directors of the Richmond Exhibition company forwarded to E. W. Dickerson, league president, at Grand Rapids, a certified check for $2,000 to be posted as a forfeit that the Richmond club will complete the league's playing season. Today the South Side Improvement association came to bat with a bid to have the playing field of the local league club located in South Richmond, in the Beallview addition. When the directors of the baseball club met last night they only had two playing field propositions before them, one submitted by the leaseholders of Athletic park. South Twenty third street, the other by Harry Gilbert, owner of a desirable tract of land on Main street directly opposite Glen Miller park. The question of a manager for the team was considered by the directors but no decision reached. Bade Myers of Canton, O., has been summoned to Richmond for consultation but no definite decision has been reached in regard to offering him the management. "Lefty" Gilbert, manager of last year's Terre Haute team, has also sent in an application for appointment as manager and has offered to bring several fast, players with him.

Some times it happens that an automobile dealer is able to get hold of a real bargain in an automobile, We have such a one now. it is a IS 17 Model Paige, seven-passenger Touring Car which sells at $1375 plus the freight. This car also has white wire wheels with an extra wheel which are $100 extra, making the car new at Richmond worth approximately $1500. The car has had excellent care and would be taken for a new one if the fact were not known that it has been used. In a series of trades we have come into possession of this fine car at a cost to us of $1025. We will sell it for that amount, as it is out of our line, and we will guarantee it to be in perfect condition
when it leaves our salesroom. The car is now m onr west window on display. See it.
