Complimenting Mrt. Ira Swisher, who celebrated her birthday anniversary Thursday, a number of her friends gave her a pleasant surprise at her apartments in the Keystone. The rooms were beautiful with clusters of daffodils, pink roses and pink sweet peas. The flowers were also used In appointing the tables when luncheon was served. A kid party was given last evening at the home of Miss Lucile Wellbaum by the members of the We-do-so club. The girls wore children's Presses. Lunch was served. There were forty members present Thursday afternoon when members of the Woman's Relief Corps met in the Post room at the Court House. Mrs. Study was initiated into the Corps and two applications for membership were accepted. Plans were completed for serving meals during election and it was also decided to place flags at each voting place. Petitions for the Governor Mcrton monument will be distributed soon. The corps will meet again next week.
