Rank Foolishness. Ton occasionally see it stated that colds do not result from cold weather. That is rank foolishness. Were it true colds would be as prevalent in midsummer as In- midwinter. The microbe that causes colds flourishes in damp, cold weather. To get rid of a cold take Chamberlain's Cough Remedy. It Is effectual and is highly recommended by people who have used it for many years as occasion required, and know its real value. Obtainable everywhere. Adv.
INSTANT ACTION SURPRISES MANY HERE This grocer's story surprises local people: "I had bad stomach trouble. All food seemed to sour and form gas. Was always constipated. Nothing helped until I, tried buckthorn bark, glycerine, etc., as mixed in Adler-1-ka. ONE SPOONFUL astonished me with it's INSTANT action." Because Adler-i-ka flushes the ENTIRE alimentary tract it relieves ANY CASE constipation, sour stomach or gas and prevents appendicitis. It has QUICKEST action of anything we. ever sold. Clem Thlstlethwaite. Adv.
AN ARMY OF INTERNAL BATHERS Over half a million bright, keen, up-to-date Americans have found that Internal Batnintf is more essential to their well-being than External Baths. Have found that taken occasionally at night they feel like different people the next morning. No more of that bilious, tired, nervous condition but, having by Nature's own cleanser, antiseptic warm water, removed all the poisonous wastes from the Lower Intestine, they awake thoroughly refreshed by normal sleep, with all their functions acting in healthy accord, bright, happy, clear-headed and confident, eager and capable for the duties of the day. Thomas C. Slater, D. C, of Logansport Ind., writes: "Yours of the 2nd received. You may use my name in your work among the Chiropractors. I consider this, with the principles of Chlropratice applied, the only way to overcome chronic appendicitis, constipation and bowel troubles of all forms. I congratulate you upon your success, and pray that reward will crown your efforts and that all honors and credits will be given you for your great works for humanity. Wishing you every success I am, Ever your friend." Why not learn more about this rapidly growing and. natural practice? The "J. B. L. Cascade," the original and best appliance for this purpose, manufactured by Chas. A. Tyrrell, M.D., is now being shown and explained by A. G. Luken's Drug Store in Richmond, Ind. There also may be obtained free on request "Why Man of Today Is Only 50 Per Cent. Efficient," a most interesting booklet on the subject. Adv.

REPORT MANY CASES OF RHEUMATISM NOW Says'Wo Must Keep Feet Dry; Avoid Exposure and Eat Less Meat.
Stay off the damp ground, avoid exposure, keep feet dry, eat less meat, drink lots of water and above all take
a spoonful of salts occasionally to :
keep down uric acid. Rheumatism is caused by poisonous toxin, called uric acid, which is generated In the bowels and absrbed into the blood. It is the function of tho kidneys to filter this acid from the blood and cast it out in the urine. The pores of the skin are also a means of freeing the blood of this impurity. In damp and chilly, cold weather tho skin pores are closed, thus forcing the kidneys to do double work, they become weak and sluggish and fail to eliminate this uric acid which keeps accumulating and circulating through the system, eventuall settling in the joints and muscles causing stiffness, soreness and pain called rheumatism. At the first twrnge of rheumatism get from any pharmacy about four ounces of Jad Salts; put a tablespoonful In a glass of water and drink before breakfast each morning for a week. This is said to eliminate uric acid by stimulating the kidneys to A A. W 1 J .1 t . - t- 1
