STATE ORDERS BENEFIT PAID LIBS. Ll'KINLEY

Notice wu received today by Robbins Reller & Rabbins, Attorneys representing Aula McKinley, , wife of George McKinley, sealer of weights and measures, that the Industrial Board had awarded Mrs. McKinley compensation for 114 weeks at the rate of $5.50 per week. Mrs. McKinley's right had was caught In a mangle at the Collar Pad Factory of D. S. Brown in June of last year. Jn addition to ordering compensation paid to Mrs. McKinley the Indus trial Board ruled that the employer was liable for all medical, surgical and hospital services rendered Mrs. McKinley. Beard Orders Payment The Board held that Mr. Brown when he called the physician in the case and told him to take, care of the injured employe that he fixed no time limit, and that by reason of such indefinite employment he became liable for all medical bills arising under the employment. It is mandatory on the employers to furnish medical services for the first thirty days, and the law permits the employer to furnish such services for a longer period it he so desires. The Board held that in this case the employer had elected to furnish medical services for a greater period than thirty days, and although the insurance company sought to avoid payment of the bills contracted beyond the period of thirty days, it could not

control the situation. The hearing of the case was held before Judge Hughes of the Industrial Board in this city last week, and the outcome was watched with much interest by physicians in this county.

Diamonds

Under present market conditions it Is particularly Important to be ultra-critical sbeut the quality of any diamond you may purchase. The rapid and phenomenal advances in the price of rough diamonds have encouraged the offering of the lower grade stones. We wish to reiterate the statement that we have not permitted market conditions to influence our diamond policy. Only first-class stones will be found here and due to fortunate purchases, prices are the same as they were before the recent advances. We urge a comparison of goods and prices. 0.L DICKINSON Eastern. Indiana's Largest Exclusive Jewelry House.
