MISS FREDERICK ACTS IN FOREST

The Canadian woods serve as the background for the thrilling photoplay "Nanette of the Wilds" in which Pauline Frederick is being starred by the Famous Players at the Murrette, Monday and Tuesday, this week. It is a tale of the celebrated Canadian Northwest Mounted Police written by Willard Mack, the well-know author and actor, who plays opposite Miss Frederick in this Paramount Picture.

PARAMOUNT FILM TEACHES LESSON

It has frequently been said that the stage and the screen cannot teach a lesson without becoming dull. This statement will be utterly refuted by the Paramount picture, "The Martyrdom of Philip Strong" which is the attraction at the Murrette theatre, Wedensday and Thursday. This pow erful photoplay is an adaptation cf the works of the well-known author, the Rev. Charles M. Sheldon, and, when the last .scene has faded from the sceen. one realizes that a tremendous lessen has been taught, but during the course of the picture itself, one thinks only of the great drama whic his being unfolded upon the screen.
