REWARD SAMARITAN WITH GOLD WATCH
Wilbur Turner Richmond; Charles Q. Sanders, Kokomo; C B. Williams, Indianapolis, and A. N. Wllhelm, Kokomo, presented M. A. Locke, proprietor and publisher of the Columbus (Ind.) Daily Herald, with a gold watch yesterday as a token of gratitude for assistance rendered after an automobile accident near Columbus, Nov. 22. The Richmond young man was severely injured. Locke, who was a passenger on an interurban car, stopped the car and gave first aid which probably saved Turner's life. Mr. Turner's condition is reported to be much improved and he will move with his family to Kokomo, next week.
MEN ENTITLED TO LIVING WAGE
Rev. O. T. Deever, of Dayton, wove social philosophy into his sermon at the United Brethren church last night on "Sin's Pay Day." "Every man has a right to a living wage, sufficient to secure to him and his family the reasonable comforts of life with educational and musical advantages for his children," he said. , Dr. Deever wili preach tonight on "Guilty, But Acquitted."
DIES AT CAMPBELLSTOWN
EATON, O., Feb. 14. Mrs. Ida O'Neil, 58, well known resident of Campbellstown, died Tuesday at her home In that village. Death was caused by pneumonia. Funeral will be held Friday in that village, conducted by Rev. O. W. Powers.

BROWN AND PITTS ARE QUAKER HOPE As a daily prelude to the Franklin game at Fraanklin Friday night, the Earlhara basketball squad went through a solid two hours session in the school gym last night. Franklin defeated Earlham earlier in the season, but the score at that time was close and the Quakers played without Brown, the R. H. S. forward. Earlham's chances to down Thurber's five rest largely with Brown and Pitts, the R. H. S. stars.
