"I bought two bottles of Chamberlain's Cough Remedy and it was only a few days until I was completely restored to health. (f Why don't you make a confession of faith and join the church tomorrow? (jJYou admit yourself and to your friends that the church is all right. (J You quiet your conscience with a promise to join sometime.
You say you are not ready to give up
wordly pleasures and that you won't join the church until you are. (J What you propose is to wait until you are worn in body and mind before giving yourself to God. (J You would give the world your younger and more fruitful years. (JYou by this argument, acknowledge your faith in God's wonderful goodness because you are counting on a last minute confession to get your soul into Heaven and escape eternal punishment. (JYou stand ready in this hour of your
country's peril to die for the United States, why are you not willing to live for God ? (f Would you cheat your Heavenly Father of the best years of your life, when you might be rendering genuine service? (Are you going to offer Him the husks? (j Every hour you delay enlisting in God's Christian Regiments you are depriving yourself of the greatest satisfaction that can come to a man in this world. (jf Adherence to the church and Christ's teachings prohibit forever certain evils, worldly things, which destrov life, vitality and happiness. (f But church membership and conversion open to you a new field of unselfish service with but one goal-to spread God's teachings broadcast over the world, thereby making this a more tolerable World in which to sojourn. Fowrhesitarice causes others to hold back. They argue that if you
a leading man in your social circle, can get along without the church they can. (JYou are your brother's keeper, when by your own procrastination you keep others out of the church. Yours is the responstbilty for their wickedness. (J Why the Church ? ' Because it is the instrument on earth through which God manifests His love for mankind, and because it is the key to a Christian life and an Eternal Heavenly Home. (JYou have never thought of anything else but becoming a church member. Now are you ready, you have the devil by the throat you have weakened his influence over you. Why not shake off that sinister spell forever? iGive to God yonr life when you arc strong and powerful, and when you can take the lead m advancing the Kingdom.
l Act now! and join.
Go to church tomorrow
